  Vision Home Crafters built our home. It wasn't our choice, but they were tied to the investor who owned the lot we wanted. The process was extremely frustrating from beginning to end, and there were several incidents that led us to question Kris's honesty. These incidents include (but not limited to): 1) Vision swapping the brand/model of windows agreed-to in our contract for a brand we'd never heard of (an issue we noticed and raised to both our agent and Kris prior to installation but that was ignored); 2) seemingly outrageous price-gouging on "upgrades" (e.g., $900 to swap from wrought-iron balusters to wood balusters that can be found for two bucks apiece, tile pricing that was 3x what we were able to find on our own, etc.). Additionally, I spoke with Keith about our 1 Year warranty issues on 9/23/2014 and have been trying to get these items rectified ever since. I last received a text from Keith on 12/11/2014 that he would be out the next day to correct some cracking in the driveway. He did not come out and despite several calls, voicemails, and one text, I have yet to hear back from him. At this point, I am resigned to the fact that the repair will not happen. There were many other issues with the build, but I will keep this brief. We recently finished our basement (we did NOT use Vision) and our last home was a new build, so we have experience with and expectations of builders. Unfortunately, our experience with Vision was incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend them at all.
